When I am Gone

My Ghost Should Wear a Lovely Bonnet

When I'm gone, my ghost should wear a lovely bonnet and smile as if she is privy to vital knowledge.

I'll have passed away, but my spirit will forever wander.

The friends I left behind will always feel my presence.

"She's here," they'll say, "let's ask her something."

That's how it will be.

But I'm getting ahead of myself.

I'm not ready to leave this world just yet.

On this plane, I still have a few roadways open.

I know that the path I choose now will determine what happens next.

A shiver runs up my spine and shoots out to the tips of my fingers.

I am choosing the unknown.

Have no idea what to expect next, but one thing is certain:

When I'm gone, my ghost should wear a lovely bonnet and watch over the loved ones I left behind.
