When I Am Gone

Love like ours can never die

When I Am Gone

When I am gone, remember me

With love and a gentle memory.

Do not weep with a heavy heart,

Just cherish how we were, not part.

Recall the laughter, warm and bright,

The talks we had late in the night.

Hold onto joy, let sorrow go free.

For love like ours will never fade

Though I may not be near for you to see,

Know that you meant the world to me.

So smile for me, be brave, be strong,

My love for you will linger like a song.

And when the stars shine soft and true,

Know that I am there with you.

I love you now, I will love you then

Have faith my love, we will meet again.
