When a new flower bloomed in our garden,
The marigold miracle matched the space.
Petals held petals, and roots grew with roots,
And we found they had harmonising traits.
Swaying calm in the breeze like lavender,
Forming friendships with the butterflies near.
Glowing in Thomas Moran’s golden hour,
This great universe, she gifted you here.
From your sprout, the sun got eternal life,
Did you control the weather—blue sky bliss?
Cherry blossom, you brought light and meaning;
I have since felt no cold of Winter’s kiss.
Only daisy field summer’s exist;
With warmth from a heavenly singing voice,
(Was it the heat that caused your tears?
Or was it the emotions of rejoice?)
