Fed up Dick and prick state

Oh Emm Geee

that sick trait

of slick and flick underweight freight

Clickbait surely kicks eight

Shows discerning readers’ time hate

How you rarely stick the landing

Seldom invite fair debate

All about the numbers

All about the rate

Ticks slate

Picks late

Contrived icky sticky crate

Feeling my last nerve

fixed date

Can’t wait and

though not particularly picky

this disappointing clicky

leaves me irate with

no prior intent to berate

since slicky

I gotta call a stinky skate

kinky bait

straight up stupid woffless Tate

‘Ouch’ for nicks

For crying out loud

If it’s not too much trouble

could you just

perchance create

Sometimes, it’s a necessity to write a ridiculously silly poem. This is one of mine. Because as writers, we all just LOVE clickbait don’t we? Let yourself off the hook and write a nonsensical something. Go ahead, you’ll feel better.
