What’s your value?

When thinking about, the value you hold,

Never worry about, what others are sold,

For your value will never, decrease this way,

Just based on what, an other will say,

Hold tight to what, you do hold dear,

Be principled, never give in to fear,

You’re stronger than, even you do know,

And what you’re worth, please don’t forego,

Every step forwards, that you have to make,

No matter how long, each one does take,

Moves you in, the right direction,

Don’t listen to, anyone’s objections,

For your journey is, yours to explore,

And every lesson, you grow some more,

We often care, about another’s opinion,

When our own life, is our own dominion,

No one knows, what you’re going through,

They judge and tell you, what you should do,

But only you, have all the facts,

And it’s up to you, to stay on track,

For when you make, a mistake or two,

It’s important the choice, was made by you,

It’s easy to blame, someone else,

It helps us always, this game make sense,

But this is your life, to live and learn,

So take control, there’s no time to spurn,

For when you look, at all you achieved,

You’ll be rewarded, because you believed,

It’s better to fail, by what you choose,

You learn a lot, when you lose,

But when making choices, you must be bold,

For one day we all, look back when old,

Now you could follow, or would you rather be,

In control, of your destiny?
