Sabotage and reckless thoughts

Endless journeys of collisions

Fragile souls in unseen wars

Waged by those with false pretenses

Ravaged hearts like ala cart

Feasted to satisfy the beast

Tattered sleeves and paper hearts

In a never ending feast

Empathetically withdrawn

Seeking to see the beauty in another

Ensnared and trapped in vicious claws

With no regard from the other

Dreams made of fairytales and promises

Too soon destroyed without a chance

Leaving it torn apart and calloused

Light and darkness in a dance

Trauma challenges survival

As we chase what could have been

Awaiting the souls revival

While we wrestle with the sin
