What is reality?

Am I in love?

"I used not to believe

a love like yours

could truly exist.

I used to believe

books and movies

lie to me.

I used to believe

the songs were

only fictional tales.

I used to believe

fiction can never

be real.

I used to believe

perfect love is something

dreamt up in imagination alone.

but now I get to experience it

every single day,

every single moment.

How can this be real?

Am I still living in the story of my favorite book?

Are you a fictional character written by me; for me?

Is it just a dream and I am actually sleeping?

How do I convince myself that this is real?

How is it so perfect that it feels as though it was crafted just for me?

If it is a book, I never want it to end.

If you are a character written by me, this story will go on forever.

If it is just a dream, I wish to remain asleep for eternity.

Is this what it means 'to be in love'?"

I was pulled from my whirlwind of thoughts when I saw him looking at me as if his entire world had been paused, with only me in his view. Without saying a word, he answered the question in my heart: ‘Yes, it’s a beautiful reality.’

Send it to your partner and confess what they mean to you❤️.
