What is love?
Is it the gentle touch of a lover's hand

Love is a force that binds us together

Love is selfless, putting others before ourselves
It's caring for someone deeply, without expecting anything in return
Love is patient and kind, forgiving and understanding
A constant presence in our lives, guiding us through the darkness.
Love is not always easy, it can be messy and complicated
It's about compromise and sacrifice, about giving and receiving
Love is vulnerable, exposing our deepest fears and insecurities
But it's also empowering, giving us strength and courage to face the unknown.
Love is a journey, a never-ending adventure
It's about growth and transformation, about learning and evolving
Love is the most powerful force in the universe
It can move mountains, heal wounds, and bring light to the darkest places.
So what is love?
It's a mystery, a paradox, a miracle
It's the essence of life, the reason we exist
Love is all around us, in every breath we take

He walks oddly, shuffling and nearly tripping down the hallway toward his apartment door. I slow my pace, allowing my neighbor— a stuffy ex-marine with one missing tooth and a strong odor of liquor and two weeks' worth of unwashed stench always accompanying him—to reach his door.
