What Goes Around, Comes Back Around

Uncertainty

My Rhiley 😍

I don’t wanna speak in generalizations, but my mother and I, kinda fit the bill!

Oil and water just never really mixed; 40+ decades, we don’t still.

Her favorite pastime was to criticize me; while mine was to gig her as a mom.

She denied the fact that she laughed in my face, while gasping for air to breathe on. Lol

Seeing each other eye to eye, was a task to say the least;

standing 3 feet shorter than me, was a challenge we couldn’t beat.

Reconciliation a tactic, tried many different times. But similar to rappers these days, ill manic not their rhythms!

When I found out I was pregnant, it didn’t matter the sex to me.

But from the very moment that I realized; I knew a girl was what it would be! lol

Looking remorseful now at my adolescence, all the snarky comments under my breath.

Luckily I was a master at gibberish, or the consequences would have been death!

All the hell I’d given my mother; I imagined it coming ten fold!

All the grief that I had given her, I wish could be untold.

And now I dread what the consequences may be; what my relationship has in store.

Will she be the chaos my mother got from me, or someone so much more?
