What are you doing for the rest of your life?

Seeking the Fairytale

What are you doing for the rest of your life? To be asked that very question, I only dare to dream. To find a forever prince charming, a knight in shining armour, to live a real-life fairytale? Does that even exist anymore?

Are there any more gentlemen? Is fidelity even attainable these days? How nice would it be to know another, inside and out, their true intentions, their inner-most thoughts, to know someone as well as you know yourself, reassurance they're as invested, share in the same goals, share the same convictions on fidelity, vowing never to waver, able to believe every word uttered, to be set free, never having to worry.

How much easier would life be? If, on a daily, one had the ability, to focus completely, on each task at hand, conquering goals, only to set another, forging forever forward, building a life together. The ability to trust in your life partner, wholly and completely, the way you know they can trust you, without a doubt, never having to second guess, never to wonder, when you look into their eyes, if they're thinking of another.

A best friend, a partner in crime, a go-to forever, someone to make future plans with, to dream with, a lover, the one person in this life you know always has your back. Your biggest fan and cheerleader, cheering you on in all endeavours. To find "the one" to spend the rest of your life with, living a real-life fairytale. I only dare to dream.
