What a dick!

Ode to artifice

What a dick!

Standing naked on the shore

Sure to be getting wet

In an hour or so

As the tide rolls in

What a dick!

Does it not prick your conscience

To be exposing yourself so

Aglow

In the knowledge that your member

Will soon be dipping deep

Wet and… bloody freezing

But you won’t be sneezing from the cold

Bold man of brass

And barnacles

No

You will stand to attention

Facing north

As your person hangs

Solid south

Certain proof that nothing shall

Excite you

Entice you to

Rise when you oughta sink

Disappear beneath the surf

Yet for now you shall remain

Stand proud

Rude before your maker

Modelled on creator

God of your existence

As you show defiance

Resistance to

Luna’s ebb and flow

Showing blessed Selene

What you are made of

I wonder if she

Like me

Will

Full of wonder

Think

What a dick!
