It was a weird day,
It was one of those rainy day of august,
I had been seated looking through the window,
Looking throught the deep fog
I don't know what I was thinking,
I was lost in my head,
Though coming and going
Floking like each of the rain drop
I was looking
My old clock was singing the time
Tic, tac, tic, tac, tic, tac ...
Like it was trying to mark the walk of a silent procession,
The appartment was silent,
No other sound than that persistant clock.
It was a weird day,
Everything was slower than the usual,
The time was playing at who could hold the longest
Taking a gaze at if I would give up my prostration
Something was coming,
I didn't know what it was,
The rain was getting stronger
The fog higher,
The clock louder,
Tic, tac, tic, tac, tic, tac ...
And the procession was closer,
It was a weird day
I had waken up this morning tired,
Half awake, half asleep,
With a heavy weight on my breast,
Something wasn't right,
I layed on my position for a moment
There is something to do,
Today is supposed to be full,
But it was a weird day,
I gently pushed the curtain to see the sky open to life,
And I stayed there
It was a weird day
I could hear my thoughs in the silence
Clear, sometimes,
Running, sometimes,
Loud, sometimes,
They were trying to say something,
I couldn't hear it,
Something wasn't all right
I couldn't find what,
It was a weird day,
I was wathing the clouds move,
I was watching the rain fall,
Everything was calm, too calm,
And the clock kept it symphony,
And I couldn't move,
It was a weird day
A normal day
A day of depression
