Daddy and Granddaughter

and daddy taught us euchre.

I love them with all my heart

She preformed her part

She was at theatre camp

this week and she was a champ.

My son says daughter doesn’t rhyme

with euchre, it rhymes with buchre

Mommy said it rhymes with puker

well better luck next time cooker

What is buchre? A book? A beech tree?

And a few other things, oh me!

When that didn’t work he said squatter

would rhyme with grand daughter.

~

Granddaughter and grandpa

went for a walk, papapana

out of breath was Julianna

Grandpa came in not tired at all.

Now they are playing monkey in the middle

with Arlo and Remy. They are having a ball.

We took the crew for dinner last night

Acapulco and it was just right.

I want to suggest a game called

A Night in a museum, it didn’t get old.

Daddy was the statue, ever so bold

then they played and dad was a bucking bronco,

chicken, gorilla and elephant, giving her

horseback ride with each animal around the track

Jules and her daddy were fun on Friday

~

We are going to a 7 year olds birthday

another granddaughter. She was born on this day.

Hoping to have a good Saturday

Then we have a 3.5 hour drive home.

Takes a lot for us to roam.

We get home with a heart full

of good stuff, a fun bucketful
