Climb the heights
Plumb the depths
A stitch in time
Warp and weft
Looms, wombs, women, men
Mai Tai, high fi, Buddhist Zen
************
Jump from a plane
Relax on the couch
Eat salad for dinner
To avoid a pouch
*****************
You do you while I do her
Call me a dog…, perhaps a cur
Just pet me nicely
Across the fur;
**********
Later we’ll catch a show then maybe a fight
Dance together under strobing light
Sway back and forth neath neon glow
Hold me close when we go slow
Then perhaps a walk on the beach
A short swim to an island just in reach
**********
I’ve got a tent all set up
Over a campfire coffee we’ll sup
Toast up some s’mores and cook up a steak
Drink some wine or have a whiskey bake
Beef, bread, chocolate, graham, marshmellow
Relax together or at moon we can bellow
**********
Sleep in a bag, or under the stars
Far from the highways noisome cars
We can cuddle for warmth, contact, empathy
Just, come morn, show me sympathy
My head may hurt, but job still beckons
Bills still to pay, thus I reckon
**********
Weekends are there to play and sing
Just please quiet down ….
My head is pounding
My ears they do ring
**********
