We Grew Where the Bells Could Hear

We met where morning wore its silver shoes,
Beneath the bells that shook the sleepy sky;
You carried sunlight folded in your blues,
While little planets wandered through my eyes.

Our young hearts hid like letters never sent,
In corridors where yesterday still stayed;
Each stolen glance became a small event,
A secret moon our growing hands had made.

The years became a river without shore,
And somehow, you were always there with me;
We crossed through doors we'd never seen before,
While time kept losing pieces of the key.

Now rings like tiny planets circle hands,
And all those school bells bloom into our vows;
We were two children dreaming distant lands.
Real love has built its forever in us now.
