We belong to the earth

She does not belong to us

Feel your breath

Wonder at your mind’s eye view

Your inner canyons

Your oceans and tide's

Your inner landscapes and outer worlds

The bluest skies

The oceans swells

The darkest storms

Windswept sand dunes

Dusk and Dawn as they renew

The first ras of sun in the cool dawn's light

Breathtaking colour of the setting night

The hoot of an owl

The screech of a hawk

The sounds of a chorus as it breathes at dawn

An awakening of rosebuds

The kiss of a butterfly

The first morning dew

All of this and more

Are the natural wonders surrounding us all

When we breathe with our heart

See with unclouded eyes

Let go of judgements and self internal lies

We know without doubt

The earth does not belong to us in any way shape or form

We belong to the earth

It is here we are born

We are the caretakers of this great blue and green land

And to the land, we shall return at the end of our stand

So treat her well this mother of ours

Nourish her as she nourishes us

For she is the only home we have

She is here and now

She is wise and wild

She is this beautiful earth where we live and reside.

Hell yes, Earth doesn't belong to us. Many power-hungry humans forget.
