Way down we go

In the heart of our shared solemnity,

Where the sun bows its head in humility,

Where echoes of whispers yet to know,

Travels the path; way down we go.

Down where roots of ancient trees twine,

Underneath the stars' faded shine,

In caverns deep, where wild rivers flow,

Follow the journey; way down we go.

Beneath the crust of measured time,

Through layers of dirt, and silt, and lime,

In the shadow of the moon's waxing glow,

We find our destiny; way down we go.

Through fields of knowledge, dark and wide,

Past the bravado, past the pride,

Where secrets, like precious gemstones, grow,

We mine the depths; way down we go.

And as we delve through truth and lie,

Where echoes of old promises die,

We uncover stories, emotions stow,

Understanding blossoms; way down we go.

Seeking answers in the quiet hum,

In the heart of earth, where dreams come,

To places where the forgotten winds blow,

Dance with the shadows; way down we go.

And when the journey turns us old,

With hands stained by clay and gold,

We will share the tales only the deep-heart knows,

Forever changed, from the way down we go.

So, come, let's journey, hand in hand,

To understand this timeless land,

And in the deepest chambers of our soul,

We'll find our truth, way down we go.
