Wanted: Wholesome Woman Who Went West

wholeheartedly worth waiting

By Daniel KPublished about a year ago 1 min read
Can’t say I blame you

We were wonderful...weren't we?

We were wolves waltzing within wilderness.

What went wrong? Where? When? Why?

What was worth wandering westward?

Wishes were worthless.

Words wouldn't work whatsoever.

Wanting.

Waiting.

Waiting.

Waiting.

Weeknights were weird.

Watching worms wriggle wherever.

Worshipping warlocks, witches, whoever would work wonders.

Weekends went watching wallpaper.

Weeping.

Whimpering.

Wallowing with whichever white wine.

Wasted.

Wondering why wineglasses weren't wishing wells.

Waking whenever.

Worrying we would wither.

Wondering where whispers went.

We were wonderful...weren't we?

We withstood winters wanting warmth.

We witnessed weathervanes welcome wind.

We watched wind warn wildflowers.

We waged wars without wielding weapons.

We won with warrior willpower.

We wove wounds without wincing.

We wrestled wickedness when we were weak.

We waded wrathful waters with woeful widows.

We withheld wants.

We wrote weighted words wearily.

Whatever we were was worthwhile.

What was west?
