Nestled in the dark

Amidst the thick trees

Where life was given a spark.

By the light of the moon

A mother tiger watched her cubs

Fearing danger would come soon.

The rain soon came pouring down.

And while out on the hunt

A cub wandered around.

So far from home

The cub cried out.

Not knowing another was a scout

For food on the roam.

With one leap

The mother defended her cub

And took it back without a peep.

Back with its mother

The cub burrowed close.

Knowing there would be no bother.
