Wall of Death
A Tenth Piece of Dark Poetry.
This is my tenth dark poem for Dharrsheena.
The music is "Wall of Death" a cover of the Richard Thompson song about the circus attraction, not quite the same as my wall of death, but the title is the same and it is a wonderful song.

Unable to move, not in control
The first brick is placed. To start the wall
Mortar is added, keeps it in place
Abusive captor laughs in your face
π€π
The wall is growing, your fate is sealed
Breathing is hard, and now You canβt see
Brick upon brick, now buried alive
He took your tongue, you canβt even cry
π€π
Your final moments, bricks in your face
To starve or suffocate in this space
This, your end for no reason at all
Victim of cruelty, here you fall
π€π
Your life is taken, and no one knew
The body behind the wall is YOU

Wow youβve picked up this theme and run with it and youβve done it really well my friend.
Absolutely loved the concept of being buried alive behind a wall! That's brilliant! Thank you so much for this poem! I loved it so much!
Very well done Mike! This made me think of βThe Cask of Amontillado.β Wonderful descriptions.
