Walk Through October

Spooky Season

Colourful leaves, hazy orange skies,

A cool autumn breeze, warm apple pies,

The smell of the harvest, a glistening frost,

Signs of incoming winter and a summer that's lost,

Come walk through October, you don't need a reason,

It's the most beautiful place and the spookiest season,

Candy in stores, pumpkins in patches,

Ghouls and goblins, wonderful fashion,

It's an exceptional place in the world of October,

You'll wish you could stay when it's finally over,

It's haunting and wholesome, it's eerie at night,

It's a full moon howl and chills filled with fright,

A creepy black cat keeps crossing the street,

Children in costumes, a pillowcase full of treats,

The coloured leaves falling, trees become bare,

Come walk through October, if you care for a scare!
