change comes; on an ever-seen approach.

the slow creeping trainwreck that for most

who would bear witness find more pleasure in watching than to stop.

this is how it's always been, and so we must and shall ever remain wronged.

apexed intelligence, insist upon separation from nature

to one day be the weight to tip the scales,

predetermined to be found wanting- it may not be today

since it's easier to say, "maybe later.

i'm busy now paving this road of only the finest intentions."

it only goes one way but can take you in any direction.

some say, "this path will take a person nowhere."

"it only goes to unbecoming destinations!" others will declare.

either way, it takes all travelers to exactly where they are already

some never stop running, spiraling round and down merrily.

misdirecting the fault to duty to the path

instead of where they choose for their feet to land.
