Listen closely, my friend
And you will hear
The voices of the earth
Whispering in your ear
They sing of the seasons
Of life and of death
Of the joy of birth
And the last dying breath
They speak of the oceans
And the mountains so high
Of the deserts and forests
Under a vast open sky
They tell of the creatures
That roam on this land
The beasts of the wild
And the creatures so grand
The voices of the earth
Are always around
In the breeze that blows
And the streams that abound
So take heed of these voices
And cherish them well
For they are the stories
That only the earth can tell.
