"VIRTUAL REALITY LOVE"

This is a poem, a story about two twin souls meeting online at an older age. They live far apart but not in their hearts. There are many stories of romances online in 2024. Not all romances online are scams. I believe in love again even at the age of 74. I have an old rock n roll heart. Rock on through the music and time of space and internet lines.

The song "Love on The Phone is from 1980 on landline phones. Now we use cell phones and laptops and the internet highway. However love is love. The song is more relevant in 2024.

“MY LONG-DISTANCE LOVE & I LIVE IN A LOVE BUBBLE”

I love when my real live virtual lover calls me at 3am,

Whispering sweet nothings in my ear in his time zone of another pm or am.

The reality of our love will someday be in the flesh,

As we speak across the oceans of time and space refresh

Across the oceans of the globe

Of the internet superhighway of love.

We touch through the phone call and text for hours,

At a time as we both say I love you out loud

As our text flow through the clouds

Of sleep, awake, and showers

We talk at our age.

Two old rock n roll hearts of on stage and off stage

As making love on the virtual highway stage of clouds

And vow our love across every page,

Of texts and expressions with emojis and A.I.

Of art of drawings of sex on the beach.

As we reach our hands to the phone to text to reach

Our souls blending through music and patience,

Of time and space

We wait for tears of endearment, of laughs and smiles.

While all the while

We know soon he will be in LA,

Soon love we say,

We hug,

We kiss,

On the shore of a virtual ocean of time and space

With grace

With patience

With love

And virtual hugs

And kisses over the phone late at night

Knowing everything will be alright.

The day we meet

We will go to LA play around like two teenagers on the street

Of the boulevards of the art galleries, the museums of art

Creative design

Of space and time.

Our love is normal in 2024.

So, we play at our age before

It’s too late to play and love.

We are blessed from above,

The clouds as our love travels beyond and above

The hustle of the crowds and clouds of time zones

As we continue our modern love affair online on our phones

Love has no boundaries across the ocean,

And the notion

It might not be real

Is just that I feel.

In the heart and soul

Of two twin souls.

Rock on in the night and day

Is what we both say.

Love while we can.

Someday we will make love in the sand,

On the beach here in the California sand
