Where is the giant?

Photo shows the author at the summit of Yr Widdfa, aka Snowdon, the highest peak in Wales, second highest in the UK, at an elevation of 1,085 metres (3,560 feet) above sea level. The climb began at dawn, around 04:00 (UTC+1) on June 20, 2026, and was completed by 08:30. Starting within dense cloud and low-to-medium visibility, the day gradually cleared to the gloriously sunny midsummer day shown.

Here are some more views of the climb (and return), all photos: RGT.
