In the stillness of the night,

A woman's screams fill the air

As her dignity is torn apart

And her soul is left bare.

Her body was not hers to take

But still, he did as he pleased

And now she's left to pick up the pieces

Of a shattered life, piece by piece.

Her voice trembles as she speaks

Of the violence that was done

And though the world may try to silence her

She won't stop until justice is won.

For justice is not just a word

It's the light that breaks through the dark

It's the hope that tomorrow will be different

And that the victim can finally embark

On a journey towards healing and peace

Without fear of being judged or blamed

And though the road may be long and hard

Justice will make sure her abuser is tamed.

For every woman who's been wronged

For every life that's been shattered and scarred

We must raise our voices and demand

That justice be served, no matter how hard.

So let us stand with the victim

And fight for her right to be heard

For justice will prevail in the end

And her voice will finally be heard.

Far too many rapists get away with it. But you don't need me to tell you this...
