Veritas In Abstracto

Translation: Reality from an abstract point of view (My High School Latin Teacher Would Have Been So Proud, Maybe)

Never intentions

are the remote residences of existence

that don’t validate distribution

of ‘Do not disturb’ signs

I’m guaranteed to find.

Impossible to explain.

Unlikely directions would be of any use

for a base of operations

where my longings seep under radar,

sulk in isolation of non-fulfillment.

Primordial emotions

the foundations of infrastructure

where results produced yesterday

is a mandate

but heightened pressure gets disguised

as gentle entreaty

(like I’ve got all day.)

Sometimes concentrations

at levels to defy assessment or measure

often catch at backs of throats,

squeeze resistant moisture

from bodily escape routes.

Fixate in presence,

skewer through chakras as colorful torments.

Seldom the same.

A blur of speed-variant excursions

bursting at seams without reference points.

No Google maps.

No GPS.

Longitude/latitude.

Gasps with patience pangs

complimentary that first go-round

then you’re on your own.

Didn’t bring a book?

Too bad.

Zero predictions on ETA

but prolly be a while.

Who’s to say,

when side-effects come courtesy of:

Always socialization.

Dammit.

Always.
