Veil of Forgotten Echoes

Wandering Through the Mist of Time’s Embrace

In the hush of dawn’s first light,

Where shadows kiss the waking air,

Lies a tapestry of yesteryear,

Woven with threads of silken night.

Through the vale of time's retreat,

Where memories softly sigh and wane,

I tread the path of ancient feet,

Where echoes of the past remain.

A brook of silver whispers by,

Murmuring secrets long untold,

As the sun ascends the azure sky,

Bathing the earth in hues of gold.

Each moment, a fleeting ember’s glow,

Fading in the twilight’s gentle sigh,

Where the heart's forgotten echoes flow,

In the silence of the sky.

Faint laughter lingers in the breeze,

Of days when life was pure and free,

When the world was wrapped in summer’s ease,

And dreams were boundless as the sea.

The oak stands firm, its branches spread,

Guardians of the days long past,

While time’s relentless river sped,

Carving memories that ever last.

In the solitude of evening’s hush,

Where the stars like ancient sentries gleam,

I wander through the twilight’s blush,

Chasing the ghosts of a forgotten dream.

The moon, a silent, silver orb,

Watches o’er this shadowed glen,

As I trace the lines of time’s soft curve,

Seeking solace in its pen.

Nostalgia, with your tender grace,

Weaves a veil of softest light,

Over the scars of time’s embrace,

Guiding me through the endless night.

Oh, to hold the moments dear,

That slipped through fingers swift and pale,

To find again the path so clear,

Where love and joy would never fail.

In the quiet of the fading day,

Where memories in silence dwell,

I lose myself, then find my way,

In the heart of nostalgia’s spell.
