The vacuum cleaner ate my child.

What now?

Do I call the police?

Will that help?

It all happened so fast.

That vacuum cleaner has no thoughts or feelings.

It just sucks,

And so it ate my ten pound child.

Are you in there Lucas?

How does it look?

I hope you are smiling.

I hope you can hear me.

Maybe a rope will help

Take my child out of the vacuum.

But he is only a child.

He doesn’t know how to use his hands.

I guess he can live in the vacuum cleaner.

I can turn it on every hour

So he can breathe,

And live like any other baby.

But what will happen when he grows?

I guess I’ll buy a bigger vacuum.
