Useless

Navigating the void of feeling useless with hope on the horizon.

By Jenny WhitePublished 6 months ago 1 min read

Why did I wake up

I question myself

When I try getting up

With a mind of an empty shelf

What is my purpose

I wonder all day

While doing some things

With a mind all gray

What else is there

Could be done before sleep

I don’t really care

Cause the night is too deep

Should I be grateful

Each day that I’m alive

Cause there’s plentiful

That the morning light deprived

Why is this the cycle

Of a self-reflect that is fruitless

I ponder as of the title,

Am I just USELESS?
