Urbanosaurus Rex
A relic in the modern age
"Urbanosaurus Rex"
In concrete jungles, a relic roams
A dinosaur out of time, yet at home
Among skyscrapers, he finds his lair
A modern monster, with a curious air
He wanders streets, a giant among men
Marveling at tech, with a puzzled gaze again
Smartphones and cars, a world so new
He wonders how humans survive, without claws to pursue
In city parks, he finds his hunting ground
Feasting on trash, with a guilty bound
Fast food and waste, a diet so unkind
Yet he adapts, a survivor of the modern mind
He coexists, a strange, peaceful sight
A reminder of the past, in the urban light
Humans gawk, yet respect his space
A symbol of wonder, in this concrete place
He dreams of forests, wild and free
But finds solace, in this urban sea
A dinosaur, living in our time
A paradox, a wonder, a rhyme.
