Up in Smoke

You set me on fire,

gasoline soaked.

but, I burned too brightly,

and I went up in smoke.

-

Alit with desire,

but then, I choked

I called you a liar

with embers down my throat

-

The forest alive,

the sky turned black;

and nothing survived,

you never turned back.

Flame unloved by

a pyromaniac.

-

You set me on fire,

gasoline soaked.

But I burned too brightly,

and I went up in smoke.
