Suicidal thoughts slowing down
Violent ideas depleting
Agitation laid rest in ground
Mental illness I’m defeating
*
Heavily medicated now
Depression lifting and drifting
Me loving me I will allow
I no longer feel like quitting
*
Relationships are on the mend
My head no longer in the clouds
I understand and comprehend
Without the non-confident doubts
*
Medicines never worked before
Takes the correct diagnosis
Untreatable, hard to ignore
Felt so messy and atrocious
*
It’s a good start to a great life
I strive to be alive and thrive
