Until Then, I'll Hold On To The Past

He Was The Love

Until Then, I'll Hold On To The Past

In days of yore, when life was new

He was the love, the one I knew

With eyes so bright, and heart so true

He stole my heart, and made it shine anew

In his embrace, I found my home

With him, I knew, I was never alone

But now, he's gone, and I am left

To weep and mourn, and shed my tears

The love we shared, the memories we made

All gone, like shadows faded

To love, to be loved in return

To find my heart, my love, my everything

Until then, I'll hold on to the past

And cherish the memories, that will forever last
