Unspoken Symphony

A melody unsung

In the symphony of life, our melodies crossed,

Harmonies humming, yet our hearts remained lost.

I saw you there, a radiant note in the score,

But my tongue failed to speak, as it had done before.

Your smile, a crescendo that stole my breath away,

Your eyes, soft and warm, a serenade in hues of day.

I longed to reach out, to let my heart take the lead,

But the fear of rejection, a dissonant beat to heed.

Now, in the silence, I hear the echoes of what might have been,

A symphony unsung, a love that could have been.

Will our souls meet again?
