Unspoken Journeys

Beneath the Surface of Shared Humanity

Every day they pass me by,

I can see it in their eyes,

Empty souls with furrowed brows,

Wandering through life's disguise.

A world of care, they bear alone,

Headed towards the unknown,

The weight of private pain they hide,

Fearing what's to be shown.

Their laughter, just a feeble mask,

Hides silent cries within,

A cloak of mirth to shield the truth,

From the chaos that lies therein.

Through the haze of life, they tread,

A dance with shadows near,

Yet hope persists in every heart,

In the face of what they fear.

A solemn empathy I bear,

For their struggles unconfined,

A shared humanity we wear,

Bound by fate, in life entwined.

So let us pause to look within,

And seek what lies behind,

The eyes that hold unspoken tales,

Of souls lost and confined.

For every face, a story writes,

A tale of joy and strife,

Each one deserving of our care,

In this fleeting dance called life.
