Silence is a loud sound
Your smile breaks the sound barrier
Yet I hear the lack of answers
A vibration of the unknown seems
To cancel you being close enough
For a kiss to land on me
Despite the glow on your face
The lack of words leave me empty
I am hollowed out waiting for something
Advice boards say men move mountains
While someone nudges us into the same area
A continuation of nothing
Even though I swear there were years
Of chemicals dancing, waiting, and releasing
The anticipation and the realization
You were bound
I was bound
In the unbounded, we are not bound
About the Creator
Lisa Pulliam
I love making fun of my emotions, feelings, and thoughts in short form writing such as songs and illustrations. I would like to write longer and more explorative pieces for others to read.
