MooooOOOOOOO :)

Note: This are some original poems by Ruby Red. I have selected them from my current work, an anthology of about 48 pages of poetry. I think I'll be giving you some snippets more often now! Enjoy! :)

-

Let the paint dry.

It needs time, not attention.

Let the blood boil.

Enjoy that rush of hatred.

Give it the attention it deserves.

Fulfill the craving but not the control.

Remain alive.

Do not poison the seeds you spent so long nurturing.

Or your peril will arrive early.

-

Train the skies to whisper the truths we all ignore so deeply.

Flavour the passionate hatred with colours too bright to name.

Don’t let the sourness get in the way.

And the twitching, itching, tickling fingers will always find their way to hope.

-

And soon, little ones,

There will be nothing left.

The world will be dry and listless -

While the birds shine bright and joyous.

And we will deny it all.

...

Fin.
