Looking at her
I see a window into a better world
One with abundant love
Among all
And it transforms me
Inspires me
The view is a place where
I want to grow old
I want to sit by her window
The rest of my days
There I want to
Watch the rain
The storms
Write romance novels
Sip a coffee or cocktail
See the runoff of pain
My old self she slain
She is engraved in the new me
She helped create
Looking at her
I see a window
Back to my innate state
By any other window
I'd sit with it forever draped
Only her light glows just right
Across my face
