Undone

Young Love at the Beach

Golden shores and a boardwalk at the beach.

Rewind time to the night I came undone,

All enchanted by the strength of your love.

My skin turned golden beneath the setting sun;

Your eyes were bright with youth- pure like a dove.

I felt the wind guide me into your arms;

The sky turned silver, and the crowds were gone.

Wholly entranced by the moon and her charms,

We fell to the sand, and laughed until dawn.

The morning waves dressed our legs in sea foam;

You pressed a shell into my sun-soaked palm.

That moment I knew your heart was my home;

Giddy, light-headed, but my soul was calm.

My deepest affections are pure and true!

With reckless abandon, I fell for you!
