Under Purple Clouds: Chapter One

The day that the purple clouds rolled in was the day that everything changed.

At first, people weren't sure what to make of it. The sky had always been blue or gray, never this strange shade of purple. Some thought it was a trick of the light, or maybe pollution from the factories that lined the outskirts of town.

But as the day wore on, the clouds only grew darker and thicker, until they covered the entire sky like a blanket. And that's when the magic began.
