i’ve stumbled before—
yep. F-L-A-T. face-first.
dreams splintered,
H-O-P-E misplaced.
but somehow,
somehow
the earth received M-E
so tenderly
i forgot to shatter.
Birds kept singing.
the S-K-Y held steady.
and breath returned
like it knew
i was being S-E-E-N
from
A-B-O-V-E.
there’s this warmth, you know?
not like F-I-R-E—
more like
the hush of a breeze
that says,
you’re not A-L-O-N-E.
you never were.
when people GO,
and doors seal shut,
and the night
gets a little too S-T-I-L-L,
HE—
He remains.
not always loud.
but A-L-W-A-Y-S
there.
and when words fail—
tears S-P-E-A-K.
and He listens.
He really, truly listens.
you know that VERSE?
from the Qur’an?
tiny,
but thunder-strong:
“Indeed, with hardship comes ease.” (94:6)
S-O-F-T as a whisper,
S-T-R-O-N-G as a mountain.
and i just smile.
because i’ve known it.
even when i wasn’t seeking.
so if you ask me—
where i live now?
NOT a city.
NOT a house.
just right here—
beneath His mercy,
under His LOVE
and CARE.
Alhumdulillah✨
