A woman loved a man the way she felt he needed to be loved. Oh! how she loved him.
Unconditionally
A woman loved a man with every breath she took and all the air she could suck in - she breathed him in.
Unconditionally
A woman loved a man with all she had - her body she let him use and she gave it up - all to him. He took her again and again.
Unconditionally
A woman loved a man so deeply that she couldn't face the truth about what was created - another part of him to love. He left her with his calling card.
Unconditionally
A woman loved a man so much that even now, after all this time - that love still burns - he'll never know.
Unconditionally
A woman loved a man
She gave her heart
A woman loved a man
She spurred forth new life
A woman loved a man
Totally, completely,
so much it hurt
A woman loved a man
Unconditionally
About the Creator
Rosetta McKinnon
I started writing when I was 14, what started as keeping a diary turned into writing what I was feeling into poetry. I've wrote for the National Library of Poetry, my first public outing, which encouraged me to write.
