i run like watercolors

when the storm front moves in

a heatwave in summer

where the melting begins

a diffusion softening

always blending and bleeding

a beautiful offering

smudged roots and gentle fusing

my patterns unfold

and gravity pulls the magic

it's beauty untold

exposing its new enchantments

as the process continues

the more that I change

like new feet in gym shoes

or the turning of a page

it takes getting used to

this yielding of form

altering my hues

becoming completely transformed

to this abstract existence

I am seeking to achieve

narrowing the distance

because I firmly believe

that we are better together

being blended makes us strong

revealing that life's greatest treasure

is our unbreakable bond
