Ugly Evolution

Oh how ugly is the human race

In the crucible of time, where ages unfold,

A tale of evolution, some deem bold.

Yet, in the skeptic's gaze, it may seem,

A journey marked by folly, a misguided dream.

From ancient seas, life's humble start,

A skeptic's lens sees a questionable art.

Cells dividing, adapting in a trance,

But some decry it as a cosmic dance.

From primal creatures, crawling on the earth,

A skeptic questions life's mysterious birth.

The march of progress, the twists and turns,

Met with skepticism, as skepticism yearns.

Through the hominid dance, a stumbling waltz,

Skeptical minds may raise their faults.

From ape to man, a dubious transformation,

In the skeptic's mind, a dubious narration.

Inventions grand and civilizations rise,

Yet skeptics ponder with questioning eyes.

The wheel, the fire, and tools so clever,

Skepticism whispers, "Is it forever?"

From cave drawings to the written word,

Skeptics doubt what they've heard.

A history written in rocks and in clay,

Yet skepticism lingers, a shadow at bay.

In the web of cultures, where stories are spun,

Skepticism asks, "What have we really won?"

From the stars above to the earth below,

Skepticism questions, "How much do we know?"

In the mosaic of life, with its intricate scheme,

Skepticism casts doubt, like a wavering beam.

Yet, in the dance of doubt and belief,

Human evolution persists, a journey beyond relief.

For even skeptics, with their probing eyes,

May find wonder in the evolutionary ties.

In the enigma of life, where questions persist,

Human evolution unfolds, a tale to coexist.
