Two swans upon a quiet lake,

Love is unique between two hearts

Two swans upon a quiet lake,

No sound but ripples that they make.

Their necks, a heart, so soft, so still.

Their World one big happy pill.

They do not speak, they do not cry,

They only glide as time drifts by.

No promises, no plans ahead,

Just silent love and waterbed.

Their feathers shine, a snowy white,

A calm that holds the edge of night.

No need for words or human chains.

They love without the need for gains.

The trees lean in with frozen breath,

As if they’ve seen too much of death.

But swans, they float through sorrow’s mist,

With grace that sadness can’t resist.

They do not chase, they do not flee,

They simply are, and choose to be.

No battle scars, no hearts to break.

Just two alone upon the lake.

So if you ever lose your way,

And all your skies turn cold and grey.

Remember swans and how they stay,

With love that does not drift away.
