Two lost souls still trying to find each other

lovers to strangers

By Nádia PinaPublished 3 years ago • 1 min read

Two souls that once were one,

Now lost to time and space.

Their love, a fading sun,

Leaves only an empty place.

Once they walked hand in hand,

With hearts beating as one.

But now they cannot stand

The distance that has begun.

They search for one another,

But the world is wide and vast.

Their love seems but a bother

In a future that's now past.

Their memories start to fade,

As years turn into dust.

Their love, a game of charade,

No longer filled with trust.

But still they hold a hope,

That one day they'll be found.

That their love will help them cope,

And their hearts will once again resound.

So they keep on searching,

For that one lost soulmate.

Their hearts forever yearning,

For a love that's worth the wait.
