As I glance over, I see you sitting there
I remember all kinds of things that we’ve shared
you are my rock, my calm, my heart
I’ve never witnessed anything like it
you carry a spirit so hugely lit
children listen to you like you’re a hero
animals attract to you like you’re the alpha
you are wise beyond your years, like your mother
you show love to your family like no other
your so unique in your ways, still structured
I also see the little boy that’s deep inside
the one that never really grieved and rarely cried;
but you can turn a frown upside down in a flash
I just love that about you, and that you take out the trash
l always glance over to you, just to see how lucky I am
curious of your thoughts, I ask of them
your sense of humor is out of this world
till death do us part, I am your girl
