A person can be like a two-faced snake,
Slithering through life with a deceitful guise,
One face is friendly, the other is fake,
Leaving behind a trail of twisted lies.
They'll charm you with their silver tongue,
And make you feel like you're their friend,
But when you turn your back, they'll strike you down,
Their betrayal knows no end.
Their venom spreads like wildfire,
Poisoning those around them with ease,
Leaving behind a trail of broken trust,
And a heart full of disease.
Beware of the two-faced snake,
For they are hard to spot,
They'll smile and shake your hand,
But behind your back, they'll plot.
So if you ever come across one,
Stay alert and stay aware,
For they'll slither through your life,
And leave you in despair.
*******
Stay vigilant and trust your instincts. Don't let the deceitful actions of others poison your life.

So very true.
Great reminder that people aren't always as sincere as they present themselves. Such a hard lesson to learn to it never gets easier, the more times people really show you who they are.
