Twelve Flowers for You

I picked twelve flowers for you today. The first flower I found was a vibrant blue Delphinium. Life feels so natural when I talk with you. Your words flow with ease and turn my moody blues into sparkling stars flowing in the dark blue sky of love.

Today is a new day. Filled with the hope of all good things ahead. Cheerful Daffodils springing everywhere. Bright emotive yellow flowers marching proudly with a smile in the sunlight of your love.

I kept walking through the field and came upon an alluring pink flower swaying through the breeze. It engulfed the entire field with its beauty. I picked a handful of the Sweet Rocket flower, envisioning the sounds of Glenn Miller’s “Moonlight Serenade” as we watched the petals dance through the night. Its warm sweet comforting fragrance covered us with peace and lulled us to a grounding slumber.

Beautiful red Tulips upon a clear blue sky. Sunny days spring delight brings me close to you.

I walked to the park bench and sat to wait for you. I glanced across the way and noticed a bed of yellow Daisies. They smiled in a sunny way. That made me think of you. 

Spending hours in deep slumber they came to me in dreams. The fragrant clusters sweet and romantic sent me to a comforting zone. A safe place in my mind. You and I are dreaming together, sharing laughter. Lilacs in my mind spread peace and love.

Poppy fields grace the roadsides of my travels, a wildflower oh so beautiful. Golden orange petals fill my senses with beauty. The flower I love most. I bring this love to you.

Collecting flowers upon a beautiful day filled with birds, butterflies, and bees. Nature's sweetest perfume calls to me as I stare at the lovely white blossoms of the Gardenia. The rich aroma sings to me filling my soul with love.

An Orchid caught my eye. It was so perfectly beautiful in its unique complex geometrical form creating flawlessly intricate blossoms. An awe inspiring mirror image that dazzles the senses and delights with brilliant design. Dressed for that perfect winter dance into a wondrous spring fling.

In my travels I came upon the most beautiful crimson tinted petals an intense perfume that lingered through the air brought me back to my childhood memories. The fragrance you adorned my American Beauty.

The brightest sunny smile standing tall above the rest. Sporting perfect posture I couldn’t help but notice the radiant vibrance of the happy Sunflower. Just like your smile leaves me beaming with a glow of love.

My dearest African Violet, your beauty runs deep within your velvety deep purple blooms. Your golden eye is a beacon of hope that guides nature straight to the heart of your life sustaining sun-kissed prize.
